I’m very excited to be returning to the IT Expo stage in Fort Lauderdale Florida next week. I will be speaking on my newest topic, Risks and Opportunities in Generative AI - this session picks up on the latest tech craze, ChatGPT and all the pomp and circumstance surrounding AI. At VERIFIED, we use a number of artificial intelligence technologies and processes, but the rapid expansion and growth of ChatGPT has not only caused a disruption, but added further questions about the validity of information, and content that is shared.

Leveraging artificial intelligence to generate new content such as text, images, and audio, has rapidly emerged as a powerful technology with numerous potential applications. From creative arts to scientific research, generative AI has the ability to revolutionize the way we produce and consume content in seemingly the blink of an eye.

This new technology presents a number of challenges that must be addressed in order to realize its full potential. From the risks of bias and manipulation to ethical concerns, the use of generative AI raises important questions about the control and responsibility that come with this power.

In the speech, we will explore the opportunities and challenges of generative AI, and discuss the importance of responsible development, deployment and usage scenarios for consideration. This thought-provoking session will explore how together we can harness the power of generative AI to create a better future for all.
